Proton and Daihatsu South Devon
Highweek Garage was established in 1939 by the Hutchings family who still own and run the business to this day.
In 1973, Highweek Garage became Toyota Dealers and remained so for over 28 years.
In 2003, the family were approached by Toyota's compact car division, Daihatsu, and subsequently became Daihatsu Dealers in late December of that year.
In November 2009 Highweek Garage became Proton Dealers.
Proton gives Highweek Customers a wider choice of vehicle. Proton Savvy 1.2, a great town car. Proton Satria Neo, a sporty hatchback featuring a LOTUS developed CAMPRO engine. Proton GEN-2, 1.3 and 1.6 hatchbacks and sophisticated saloon. Proton GEN-2 ECOLOGIC, 1.6, Dual Fuel (Petrol and LPG), also available as a hatchback or saloon.
